When you arrive in Rome, your Italian adventure officially begins. Once you've checked into your hotel, spend the evening strolling around the Eternal City's cobblestone streets while sipping gelato or having a leisurely supper at a neighbourhood trattoria.
Take a hop-on-hop-off bus tour to see the center of Rome, getting off at important locations like the Roman Forum and the Colosseum to learn more about the city's prehistoric past. Spend the afternoon seeing the Vatican Museums and taking in the enormous art collections and Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel.
Take a train to Florence, the Renaissance's birthplace. After arriving, spend the day exploring at your leisure. Take in the beauty of the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, stroll across the Ponte Vecchio, or just savor the flavors of Tuscan cuisine at a neighbourhood osteria.
Set out from Florence on a full-day journey to Pisa. Explore the other architectural wonders in the Square of Miracles, including the Baptistery and the Cathedral, in addition to the famous Leaning Tower.
Take a train ride to Venice, the canal city. After checking in, take a classic gondola ride along the Grand Canal, where you'll pass by palaces from the past and sail beneath some of Venice's most well-known bridges while your gondolier serenades you.
Proceed towards Milan, the fashion center of Italy. Explore Milan's magnificent Duomo for the day, go upscale shopping at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, and maybe even catch a glimpse of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper (booking in advance is essential).
