Walking down Baku Boulevard, which begins at Freedom Square and runs past the Old City along a bay facing the south on the Caspian Sea, is a great way to end the day. Spend the night at the hotel.
Take a tour of Baku's Old City, also known as the Inner City, after breakfast at the hotel. Encircled by historic fortifications, this region is home to important locations such as Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, which is recognized by UNESCO. Later, take in the vibrant ambiance of Nizami Street, which is well-known for its shopping and historical significance dating back to Baku's 1864 town-planning endeavor. A visit to the Heydar Aliyev Center, a remarkable example of Zaha Hadid's modern architecture, is also included in the itinerary. Returning to the hotel marks the conclusion of the day.
Start the Flame Tour with having breakfast at the hotel. See the ancient sacred site known as Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple), which was formerly frequented by followers of Zoroastrianism and Hinduism. Proceed to Yanardag, also known as Fire Mountain, where a natural gas fire is continuously burning on the Absheron Peninsula's mountainside. The tour also includes a visit to the Bibi-Heybat Mosque, which is a noteworthy example of Islamic architecture and a spiritual hub for Muslims in the area. It was initially constructed in the 13th century by Shirvanshah Farrukhzad II. After that, head back to the hotel.
Check out of the Baku hotel after breakfast and head to Gabala, which is in Azerbaijan's northwest. The 225 kilometer trip takes about three hours to complete. Once you've arrived, enjoy a tour of Gabala after checking into your accommodation. After having breakfast in Gabala, check out and head back to Baku. After checking into your accommodation, visit Baku's largest mall, Genclik Mall, for a shopping spree. The mall has multiple food courts, a 3D movie theater, a large bowling alley, and more than 80 retailers. After spending the day shopping and enjoying leisure, head back to the hotel for the night.
